Four Seasons of Great Notch
I’m of the generation now referred to as the “Baby Boomers”, some even called us Flower Children. We grew up with Woodstock, love beads, Bob Dylan, Gloria Steinem and Vietnam. We were proud of who we were, what we could achieve and the belief that we could conquer any adversity, we were the future and […]
My Amazing Artifact
Someone sent me this essay and I thought it was extraordinary. Jack is a sixth grader and this is his response to an assignment. I wanted to share it. My artifact, a 1795 dated half dollar, is one of my favorite coins. It’s made out of silver with dark, beautiful, toning on the faces and […]
Buzzy Levine and Lark Street Music, Pure Harmony
As one guitar player and huge fan of Lark Street Music said to me: “The best way I can describe the experience of walking into Lark Street when you are a guitar player/lover/aficionado is this way: imagine someone who is a car enthusiast walking into a car showroom and in that showroom is an original […]
Balancing Parenthood and Work in Bergen County: How the Right Daycare Makes Life Easier
Let’s be honest, managing a full-time job while raising kids in Bergen County can feel like an Olympic event. Hail Cesar
It was just another day helping clients to heal from some kind of bodily injury, a back problem, learning how to walk after hip replacement, clients in all shapes, ages and sizes. One older woman was doing her prescribed exercises when all of a sudden she had to relieve herself. She got up to leave […]

You can enjoy Britbox on PBS, or, like me, on Amazon Prime. Charges for Britbox go through one’s Amazon account, easy to track and pay. […]
Avery Johnson Interior Design
Avery had an extremely successful career at Barney’s. He was the personal shopper to very famous entertainers, athletes, musicians and people of wealth . He had THE Book, as they say.
Biking
Embark on a picturesque bike ride through Bergen County’s Northern Valley, a region rich in history, natural beauty, and personal reflection.
Skiing, Love it or Leave It
The first time I ever skied, I broke my leg. After that I was too terrified. I tried, I cried, I screamed and took my boots off. Then I moved with my family to Switzerland.
FINALLY, A VOICE FOR RESCUED ANIMALS
He shooed them away, and took the shaking pup in his arms. His warm and cozy car was waiting and they rode to the nearest shelter. Eventually, through the wonderful pet rescue system, Grace found herself in the northeast and into the care of the amazing people at Peace4Paws rescue.
