For the remainder of March 2026, Bergen County offers a variety of interactive events for toddlers, ranging from nature-based story times to festive early Easter celebrations and sensory play.
 
Upcoming Toddler Events (March 21–31, 2026)
  • Nature Story Time
    • Date & Time: Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
    • LocationTenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Ave, Tenafly.
    • Type: Nature/Storytelling.
    • Description: A family-friendly story session featuring a surprise visit from one of the center’s Animal Ambassadors (like a turtle or owl).

  • New Jersey Makers Day
    • Date & Time: Saturday, March 21, 2026 (Times vary; Ridgewood starts at 1:00 PM; Oradell at 10:30 AM).
    • Location: Various local libraries including Ridgewood Public Library and Oradell Public Library.
    • Type: Hands-on Craft/STEM.
    • Description: Drop-in events featuring sensory stations, simple crafts, and science experiments designed for families and young children.
  • The Fairy Circus Puppet Show
    • Date & Time: Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
    • Location: Puffin Cultural Forum, 20 Puffin Way, Teaneck.
    • Type: Performing Arts.
    • Description: A free puppet show by the Tanglewood Marionettes, followed by milk and cookies for the little ones.
  • Tiny Tots: Spring Series
    • Date & Time: Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
    • Location: Lorrimer Sanctuary, 790 Ewing Ave, Franklin Lakes.
    • Type: Nature Program.
    • Description: A nature-based program for toddlers (ages 18 months–3.5 years) involving nature walks and seasonal story time.
    • Cost: $7.00.
  • Easter Egg Hunts & Bunny Meet-and-Greets
    • Spring Celebration & Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Leonia Recreation Department (Ages 3+).
    • Spring Eggstravaganza: Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM at The Learning Experience – River Vale, featuring egg hunts and crafts.
    • Bunny Hop Egg-venture: Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Twin Monkey Playhouse, Lyndhurst. Includes bubble play and photo ops.
 
Regular Weekly Happenings
  • Stay & Play Storytime: Friday, March 27, at 10:30 AM at Emerson Public Library (Ages 1–3).
  • Little Hands Crafts: Thursday, March 26, at 10:30 AM at Glen Rock Public Library(Ages 18 months–4 years).
  • Weekly Open Play: Various dates at We Rock The Spectrum – Bergen in Paramus, providing a sensory-safe gym environment.
